— Violet Tcherkin

My mission is to UNITE people through their STORIES and END prejudice by disrupting the Status Quo, discovering the power of vulnerability and the gold that lies in the fingerprint of each individual.

I have been involved in almost every facet of the theater and the film industry. Today I am most proud of having been given the possibility to make my long life dream, of empowering the people I work with to become the best version of themselves, a reality.

- in harmony, Violet

— A life of Art,
an Artist of Life

It's not surprising that Violet wound up here!

She was born into a generation of musicians, actors, directors and producers. Violet grew up with her grandfather Georgi Zlatev Tcherkin, who was one of Bulgaria's most renowned composers. He was a graduate of the Vienna's State Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, student of renowned professor T. Lierhammer, a vocal Pedagogue at the Conservatory of Peking, Tientsin and Shanghai. He brought forth talent who performed at the Metropolitan Opera in NY.

The grand niece of Nedialka Simeonova, ranked by American critics as one of the best European female violinists of the 20th century. She was the first Bulgarian artist to perform at Carnegie Hall.

Her parents were both musicians who worked often with prestigious conductors such as Herbert Von Karajan, and were chosen to play for the Shah of Iran.

Violet was constantly surrounded by prodigious talent and high ambitions.

Violet began displaying her talent as a versatile performer at the early age of four. At five, she had her first television appearance in Bulgaria's popular children's show, "Goodnight Children".

Not long thereafter she made her first solo studio recording for the signature song of Sofia National Theatre's production of "Don Quixote", with acclaimed composer Juri Stupel, winner of several National and International songwriting and theatre production awards.
Shortly after she joined a traditional Bulgarian Dance Troupe as a soloist, winning several competitions.
At nine she relocated to San Remo, Italy. For the upcoming ten years, Violet lived with her violinist mother traveling around the country, learning flute, piano and saxophone by ear. By twelve Violet was already known as a beloved storyteller and enchanted a considerable large number of audiences with colorful characters and self-written vaudeville shows.

Her travels landed her the opportunity to live over 3 continents, in five countries, allowing her to accumulate a variety of cultural backgrounds, and making her speak fluently Bulgarian, Norwegian, Italian, English and a conversational Spanish.
